What to do if the weather turns bad

Parents and students, please take note of the information below as to our inclement weather process and how it works to inform you if there will be a school closing.

The administration will be out early to drive the bus routes to determine if our buses should be able to safely transport our children to school. Then, by 6:30a.m., school closing will be announced if it is so determined. We ask you to refrain from calling administrators unless you have an emergency situation. Please listen to your local radio stations and news stations for school closing information. The radio stations notified are AM 1390, FM 95.7 and FM 99.7.  The television stations notified are 4, 5, 9 and 25. We will also send out a mass email and text to those of you that have signed up for our news update.

If it is necessary to close early because of unexpected bad weather, we will attempt to notify elementary parents.   Parents should have an up-to-date phone number at the school for emergency calls. Your children should have an alternate place to stay in case of early school closing.

Due to bad weather, our buses may run behind schedule. Your children should wait inside and watch for the bus.
